Our pedicure bowls are free of jets that can be harmful breeding grounds for bacteria and germs. We also pride ourselves on sourcing pedicure bowls that are made of recyclable, BPA, and Toxin-Free materials. Combined with our non-toxic 5-Free or better polishes and products our salon is not only fume-free but also jet free.

The Better Than Acrylic “Builder Gel” (65min)
We use our non-toxic | vegan-friendly builder gel application to “overlay” & rebuild/structure your natural nail, then cure the builder gel under our LED (non-uv) lamps. Our “TBTA” Mani is a safer, durable (last 3-5 weeks) and more health-conscious alternative to the toxic acrylic/SNS Dip options.

Apres GEL-X Extensions (70min)
This is the perfect non-toxic option for the clients that want some extra length and the durability of our “TBTA” overlay. We only use 100% soft gel non-toxic Apre’s GEL-X extensions to achieve that desired length. No refill is required as these can be removed simply with a basic soak off procedure similar to removing gel or shellac.

The Better Than Acrylic Removal (30min) Our “TBTA” removal service is for our clients that accidentally book their rebuild after the 3-week window, or the client looking to start fresh. | $15
The Better Than Acrylic Rebuild (60min) Let us refresh your “TBTA” Mani with a rebuild. The appointment date must be within 3 weeks of your last appt. If you book your rebuild after the 3-week time frame, we will not be able to perform a rebuild but will instead have to book a full “TBTA” Mani + a “TBTA” Removal service (due to the natural growth of nails). We at SPLEND have tirelessly sourced the best and most conscious non-toxic products that we can offer, to give everyone the ability to experience Guilt-Free + Conscious + Beauty.
(All of our polishes are at least 5-Free. Meaning they are void of the most dangerous and harmful chemicals in nail polish: Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Dibutyl Phthalate, & Toluene.)

Our pedicure bowls are FREE of JETS that can be harmful breeding grounds for bacteria and germs. We also pride ourselves in sourcing pedicure bowls that are made of recyclable, BPA and Toxin-Free materials made in Vancouver. The bottom of each resin bowl also features a peddle-textured base that gently massages the feet. Each and everyone of our pedicure bowl is emptied and sanitized between services, and you will receive a new and freshly sanitized pedicure bowl for your service.

We offer a safer non-toxic and long-lasting alternative to the highly toxic acrylic and dip services found at traditional nail salons. With our “The Better Than Acrylic” (builder gel) service we use our non-toxic builder gels, that will provide you the longevity and durability of acrylic or dipped nails without all the toxic baggage.

Our builder gel / “The Better Than Acrylic” service is our flagship offering. Our technicians use a builder gel overlay with a floating bead method that must be precisely layered to build out the gel/polish on the natural nail and cured with our LED (non-UV) lamps rather than simply painting it on. This process is more technical and time-consuming, but it offers our clients a safer non-toxic | vegan friendly alternative, that gives you the longevity and strength of traditional SNS Acrylics/Dip. Our gel services helps protect the nail and promote natural growth while lasting up to 3-5 weeks.

Our soft gel application is our vegan-friendly | non-toxic polish option that is known for its durability compared to regular polish and is cured under our LED (non-uv) lamps. (last up to 21 days).
Our CND Shellac application is a non-toxic gel hybrid polish option that is also known for its durability and has an amazing selection of shades and hues. Also cured under our LED (non-uv) lamps. (last up to 14 days)
We also have an amazing selection of our regular non-toxic lacquer polishes that are traditionally air dried and have a typical wear time of up to 7 days.
